You probably already know that building a relationship with your customers takes time and effort.

There is a world of difference between getting a message starting with Dear Customer and a message that begins with Hi Stephanie. You want to follow the latter, and by the way – you can personalize your message and still be formal.


Make sure you ask your newsletter subscription form includes a separate field for the contact’s first and last name.

This way, you’ll be able to set your newsletter to addressing them by their first name (and last, if you wish) in just one click.
