HI, I downloaded Inwise Desktop thinking it was free ... but keep getting message saying "your trial is up in xdays upgrade now",which links to a secure payment site. Could you clarify things for me? I appear to have downloaded Desktop Pro - have used it and it's great BUT what happens at the end of the "trial" period if I don't pay up? Does the product somehow change to the Standard package?! I'm in the UK by the way :)

Hi,

There are two versions to the inwiseDesktop, the Standard, which is free and allowes you to send newsletters to up to 500 recipients. The Pro version is fre to try for 14 days, and after that you won't be able to send out e-mails unless you purchase it. The Pro version allows sending e-mails to up to 5000 recipients, and provides detailed reports about who opened your e-mails \ clicked your links and a few more features.

We're here to provide any further information that will help you choosing the product that will best fit you.

Thanks for that, guess we'll have to pay up as the Pro is certainly a great product :) I can't (and couldn't) find a link to download the Standard version though so have been unable to compare the two. We're using the product to send out mailings for a guitar band we are working with and currently have around 200 on our list. What would be your advise?

Both products can be found on www.download.com,
the link to the Standard version is the following:

http://www.download.com/Inwise-Desktop-Free-Newsletter-Software-Standard/3000-2650_4-10722317.html?tag=lst-3

If you have a list of 200 recipients, you can use the Standard version, since it allows sending e-mails to up to 500 recipients.
Of course, in order to see detailed reports such as, who opened your e-mail, or clicked on the linked you'll have to use the Pro version.

Best regards.
